DC’S New 52- Red Lanterns #1

Written by Peter Milligan with art by the always talented Ed Benes, this issue re-introduces you to those lovable rascals, the Red Lanterns.
Awww, so lovable!
Through a series of flashbacks, we get the origin of their leader, Atrocitus, a man devistated by the genocide of his entire planet at the hands of a Green Lantern Guardian. We also are introduced to the gang, Dex-Starr, the homicidal cat, and Bleez, the sexy, sassy, winged villainess.
With all this goodness, it’s still not hard to find the bad, as in the story. I couldn’t help but notice at one point Atrocitus references “A fading actor repeating empty lines”. Not a bad quote or saying, but would Atrocitus really speak like this? Would he even know what an actor is?! I doubt it, as he’s too busy whining about how the “fire” in him is getting weaker. And what he does to re-ignite the fire, really doesn’t make sense….it’s too passive, and you’ll figure that out when you read it! He comes off as a grumpy old man, unable to control his children as they tear the house down around him.
Sound familar?
That being said, I’d still say if you are a fan of Green Lantern, it’s worth picking up. However if you don’t know squat about the Green Lanterns or their mission in life, I’d pass on this issue.
This looks strangely familar. Atrocitus?
Consumed with Hatred towards people consumed with Hatred,

I have read your article carefully and I agree with you very much. This has provided a great help for my thesis writing, and I will seriously improve it. However, I don’t know much about a certain place. Can you help me?
